So why is getting called "papi" acceptable, but "daddy" isn't?

OP said daddy too. Black women dont say daddy? Jesus. I even said in my initial post Ive been called daddy/zaddy by black women. Idk why ur hell bent on bringing up white women when this is about women in general.

Ur post wreaks of low self esteem.

You are reaching and kinda lost

I’ll spell it out for you.

Latin = papi = yes
Black = daddy = no

Now reread the thread title back to yourself.

You following now? Jesus ...

I tagged ya because I thought I saw a post about you being married to an afro Latino man. If this is the case, does his side of the family use it to on a consistent basis?
I dont think it has anything to do with daddy issues. My ex called me papi & she had a great relationship with her father. She had other issues though:francis:
I would agree with this part. I just see it as a pet name same way someone might use baby, lil mama etc. :manny: . Kinda seems like people jump to the assumption that she thinking of her father when shes having sex which is :skip:
i tell her shut the fukk up*
:picard: sex is supposed to be expressive though

The Coli is the only place where heterosexual men don’t like being called daddy from my observation. It’s crazy.

The papi thing is cool for a minute but eventually the novelty wears off if she’s always calling me that.
Right. It's a common noun that some people think means she wants him

"Oh she called me papi. :mjgrin:"
Its Strange too I've Noticed Some Spanish Dudes Casually Call Dudes Papi too.... like... ''Me no Black Papi'' sammy sosa type stuff. never understood that.
See above. Gotta see the context of when it's said.
because papi sounds exotical :takedat:
Do you feel that way because you aren't in an area with a large Latin populations ?

If a woman uses daddy casually then I assume she was pimped out at one point or another.
Not sure what Spanish people using papi has to do with African Americans?
It's more so just noticing the last couple days of threads dealing with the term zaddy/daddy.
I don't like being called daddy so I definitely don't wanna be called one in another language:camby:
Which is how I see it. If I don't like it in one language I'm not gonna like it in another language.

Latin women calling their father, cousins, uncle, grandfather papi but when a woman uses the term daddy to refer to you.. she has some underlying daddy issues? I honestly can't think of any women that call their father daddy.

Heard:
Dad
Pops
Father
Papi

But never daddy. Is it the perceived exoticness of the woman that makes it acceptable?
Papi sounds sexy and daddy sounds rapey
