the fact of the matter is that we live in challenging times and we're starting to expect more from our politicians.

Beyond the fact that she's a woman, Hilary has shown little to no inclination for progressive reform. She's shown time and time again that she's more centrist-right in her views especially foreign affairs. People are tired of the playing both sides of the fence Dems.

However, lets be clear about something...it is kinda a misconception that "the Clintons were bad for Black people". Yes the crime policies enacted under the Clinton Regime were particularly brutal (The Clinton Legacy Is Black Impoverishment—so Why Are We Still Voting for Hillary?. However within context, the 90s were extremely violent and "tough on crime" was a valid and widely used campaign stance...

Also keep in mind that Middle class Blacks did extremely well in the 90s'. Black earning power rose significantly in the 90s. Its why til this day the Black middle class will vote Clinton (and middle class Black are more likely to vote than their poor counterparts).

President sets the tone for the entire country, domestically and internationally. During the Bush presidency, ppl hated America, Americans were scared to go overseas. America was at war - we all know ppl that went to war and some that didn't make it back.

Obama came in, did a course correction, good ppl love America now. Ended two wars, closed out boots on the ground in Iraq, and in Afghanistan, as much as he could without abandoning America's interests in the region. Israel tried to use the U.S as a whipping boy like they did in the past, Obama stood up to them and put them in their place. Opened up borders to Cuba, expanded healthcare...
