So will NFL teams start playing the Chiefs differently now?

If the stat is correct, Philly did NOT blitz Mahomes a single time in that game. That's an insane stat and sounds like they were absolutely trying to send a message.

The Chiefs live on receivers being wide open over the middle and on the hashes BECAUSE the LBs take themselves out of plays by sending 6 or 7 guys on a blitz.

Everyone doesn't have Philly D-line talent, but I think most teams would fare better blitzing them less.

You're smarter than this. What other team outside of maybe Houston has a DL that can dominate the Chiefs OL that easily while only sending 4. The LBs dropping back wasn't the problem. It was the DL getting there so quick it didn't leave time for WRs to settle into holes in the zone.

KC has no WRs. It didn’t help that old man Nuk/Kelce were dropping passes they usually catch, but the other WRs didn’t do much until garbage time.

Other NFL teams can’t copy Philly cuz they don’t have the DL talent to rush 4 and still get insane pressure. Well aside from Indy for some reason.

I mentioned this in my post. I said every team doesn't have their D-line talent.

However, most teams could still benefit from not blitzing them so often. Mahomes eats that up.

To the people saying they have no WRs, I disagree. Yeah you don't have a Tyreek Hill, but everyone else is still very good, talent-wise

That is a specialty almost specific to Vic Fangio. He specializes generating pressure with just the defensive line and the Eagles line is massive.

Chiefs offense gets shut down every week.

They’re defense keeps games close and they have unprecedented production in the clutch.

Mahomes also has to clean shyt up. He was down right awful and he’s gotta be better at reading what teams are doing. The book on him is to keep him in the pocket and take away his first read and he’s no where near as effective. It’s not a good look when a rookie like Jayden Daniels looks way better than a three time Super Bowl champ against the same team
