I never saw any of the quality in the nwo at all.
The whole hogun in wcw was complete bullshyt and ruined the company even worse.

shyt was watching old wcw dialed back cruiserweight matches from the pillman liger era predating it by easily half a decade.
Not to mention the plethora of NWA worker to ecw and wce who were just flat out better easily.

nWo was dope as fukk at first. adding more and more members is what ultimately killed it along with WCW botching the Starrcade main even which should have been one of the biggest matches of that era. The only stable that's arguably more influential than the nWo are the Four Horsemen.
DX was never as dope or as over as nWo at their peak, but they lasted longer because they never got TOO big. Also if we're keeping it 100% the lowest points of DX weren't as bad as the LOWEST points of the nWo (remember the B team and nWo 2000?)
With that said Rock is bigger than the nWo and DX. Dude is the biggest movie star in the world and proved that he's still a huge draw in wrestling. For all the shyt that a small group of people talk whenever he's active, fans lose their fukking shyt whenever he returns to WWE.

Quality wise, Nash promo game has always been elite level. As far as Goldberg, Nash the genius saw that Goldberg couldn't work a match to save his life so he did what was best for business at the time, take the belt off him, but Hoegan fukked it up by wanting it back right away
