And I hope gettlemen fixes it, because I love watching Cam play. But the organization has been making horrible decisions pretty much SINCE they drafted Cam Newton.

You don't get to erase that.

Even WITH Oher they have massive questions along the line, which has been a weakness for ... years. You gotta protect that man... and gotta continually invest in it.

elaborate on these horrible decisions breh. lets go through them on a case by case basis.

Cam Newton's $67.6M over the 1st three years of deal bests what Big Ben just got. Most ever over the 1st 3yrs (a key metric in these deals)

They did get him some height in the draft with Funchess. Cam has an over throw problem so guys like him & KB will be a lot of help. Plus we got Ted Ginn back who gives you some speed. It's that O line & Mike Shulas over reliance on designed runs Im concerned about

Failing to find somebody to play across from Steve Smith, and then letting him go for nothing.
The handling of the greg hardy debacle.
Failing to secure a proven offensive tackle, or investing with a top pick.
Letting munnerlyn go for nothing.
They needed a cornerback this offseason

That's just in the last year or so... But I like Gettleman... I think he makes sound draft choices, addresses needs, and I think he's going to right the ship. The defense is very good, the offense got another weapon in Funchess (people seem to either love or hate him)

The biggest problem was letting their O-line fall into disrepair over the last 3 years. I watched the giants do the same thing around Eli. Negligence, basically.

ATL…overly
Panthers just used #1 & #2 round draft picks on WR's

or am I mistaken?

Yep. In back to back drafts. And return a 1000 yd receiver in TE Greg Olson and have a solid RB game with Johnathan Stewart and the remains of D'angelo Williams. Somehow, the case will be made that Scam STILL doesn't have enough help and that it's the offensive coordinators fault for not knowing how to use Cam properly. Just wait

- That problem preceded Gettleman, other than Muhsin Muhammad they could never find a guy to complement him across. I hated that move but teams let star players walk all the time and he wanted to transition the locker room over to Newton and Kuechly. He should have gave Steve more respect when he released him though.

The handling of the greg hardy debacle.

- I don't understand what else could have been done.

Failing to secure a proven offensive tackle, or investing with a top pick.

- In the last two drafts, all the tackles they had a first round grade on their board were gone by their pick and didn't want to reach on one. Humphries would have been the pick this year if Arizona didn't take him one pick ahead. His first two picks turned out fine with Lotulelei and Benjamin.

Letting munnerlyn go for nothing.

- He's best as a slot corner and $24 mil is too much to keep one around especially when your team is cap strapped. The Panthers have a couple of young corners they've drafted (Norman, Benwikere) that they're high on and also brought in a few veterans to mentor.

- I wouldn't say negligence, he's tried the best he could finding the answer on the roster and at discount prices. Just didn't work out.

That's negligence, bruh. You skimp on protecting your quarterback, your offense turns to shyt fast. You also brushed things off as "preceding gettleman" But I don't care about that... they are decisions the teams made... I don't think gettleman is the problem, I think the organization has been fukking up nonstop for the last 3-4 years.

But you seem to disagree on every point, including the "will we or won't we" saga with Greg Hardy that went on for weeks.

:cape:on, fam. That's your team.

I'm not sure here, are you saying Gettleman is fukking up, or the organization? If you want to say the organization, yeah, they've been fukking up which is what led to his predecessor being fired and why he got the job. I think he's done a good job in the two years he's been here so far considering what he's had to work with.

Two things:

- Just how can they make the Panthers/The City of Charlotte attractive to free agents? have they ever had a big name Free Agent ever come there?

What the fukk does Charlotte have to offer?

- Devin Funchess? :scust: That nikka really makes you wonder what value does wearing #1 at Michigan mean anymore.

I wasn't gonna say nothin to this post cause it was obvious you ain't know what you was talking bout based on stating Williams was coming back. But because you don't, I'm just gonna educate you on the fact that

A. In the span that Cam got back from the crash till the Seattle game was probably the most QB running I've seen Cam have since Shula was here and that's been like what 2 years? Shula nearly never ran the RO with arguably the best runner at the position until basically it was either win or you're going home, he's stupid

B. They still don't have THAT good a receiver corp. Funchess until proven otherwise isn't really good, he just has a good frame. Benjamin is rising, but his drops are still an extreme problem for a guy that's asked to be a vertical threat. Ted Ginn is a decent slot threat, but he doesn't have like amazing hands or anything like that. And that little nikka from OSU last year was basically a worse version of Ginn

So you got Olsen as an elite tight end, our best wide receiver still has drops and behind that you got a group ranging from decent to trash. When Panthers fans say they want a good core, they really mean like the ones Atlanta has been wasting for the past 3 years.
