MS the only ones eating off GamePass.

Publishers getting Spotify-like $.02 per play and shyt.

Naw I’d say it’s the other way around. 3rd party devs and indie devs know their games wouldn’t sell that great on Xbox especially now and with a low user base, gamepass pretty much pays them to be on the platform. Whatever happens after that the pub doesn’t give a shyt, they got their money already. Whatever extra they get is just a bonus.

it’s microsoft who are taking it in the chin just to feed the service. They pretty much have to pay publishers now in order for them to care about developing products for them. Microsoft is giving out bags for acquisitions and gamepass deals cause they need a constant supply of games whether they are good or not.

complaining about gamepass is always your weakest arguement

everyone pays for online service... you can tack on gamepass and EA Acess to online service you're going to pay anyways
getting 72 free games a year from online subscription .... every EA game to play online with friends (Sports, Battlefield Etc) and then hundreds of gamepass games including first day drops that you'd buy anyways

all for 120$

your basically paying 60$ for all of that because you would pay 60$ anyways just to be online in the first place

1 free gamepass drop is the equivalent to what you'd spend for the entire year subscription to the benefit of 500 games

if there's a game that doesnt come to either, you'd still be buying that anyways. I havent met a grown man that wants to play a game but doesnt have the money for it.
Plus with gamepass for just the 60$ addition on top of being online yearly, you know other people can the same exact games as you.

If they just drop a horizon for free every year, thats like getting 500 games for free with it. 60$ extra one time which you'd already spend anyway.

thats not even including 2k being free on that bytch alone

now you got a year of extra dough to buy the discounted DLC, games etc. You can try shyt to see if you like it, if you do drop the 50% off and grab the game with the DLC attached. Or just play it on Gamepass with the DLC included.

Sony Trumpers be talking about gamepass more than Xbox
The only people that actively criticize Game Pass are Sony fanboys. It's really weird that you see all these people criticizing such a pro-consumer service. The talking point is to frame it as bad for consumers when it's quite the opposite. We all know their criticism of it is from where it came from not what it is.

It's like how they were critical of Microsoft saying they'd bring big franchise games to Xbox One but when Sony said they'd do that for PS4 suddenly it's cool to do and makes good business sense.

I just don't understand how people can define their opinions of what's acceptable based off a corporation's ever-evolving roadmap.

Was wondering how they didn’t increase their numbers after coming to E3 which pretty much just gamepass.
The last official number was 18 million. If they're at 22 then that's growth but perhaps because reporters claimed 23 they're waiting to pass that before putting out new numbers.
