Not really, I understand where he's coming from.

You got thousands of supermen flying around what would happen if there wasn't any kryptonite, if these guys turn the world is fukked. At the same time they shouldn't have to answer to government and reveal their identities.

Superman turning against heroism and becoming villains would be the Justice League's problem, not the government's. Superheros deal with superhero problems.

I think a few accidents with Mutants/Superhumans and House of M was what started it. I don't remember lol, but yeah it was basically split between Captain America, Punisher and a few others vs Spider-Man's fakkit ass, Iron-Man, SHIELD, Fantastic Four, etc.
