Turned on the radio, with my kid in the car. Ushers song comes on about loving strippers. Turns radio off turns on learning songs .

You a dumb, dumb nikka.

Mind you this is the only black station available.

Exactly. If the media has no effect then I don't want to hear shyt the next time a movie like God's of Egypt comes out.

2nd time.. thing you do affects... music has an effect on..

Never said it was one of the more serious issues, just saying that denying that it's an issue is silly. I've seen people straight up deny that gangsta rap has no effect on teens.... yeah that's silly.

It's even less of an issue now that black music on a whole has taken a backseat while pop dominates the airwaves so it's not even like you got gangsta rap coming through your speakers if you just happen to turn on the radio.

There's a difference between what you're saying and folks who (as the title says) "ain't got shyt better to do" than blame music.

No one in their right mind can deny that music is influential. But ultimately, "gangsta rap made me do it" is not gonna hold up in court
as a good defense. An "influence" is but one of many factors of a reason someone does something. If such influence was as powerful
as some would have us believe, then i'd make a song called "Time To Suck D!ck, Ladies" and go on tour...
