A Mormon choosing a pro-life political party?
Two of the most prominent anti-Trump conservatives, Evan McMullin and Mitt Romney, were Mormons from Utah. I mean Trump's entire lifestyle and history shyts on everything Mormons stand for. So don't give him some bullshyt pass. He could be pro-life without sucking up to Trump.

You're right, I didn't realize it was that strong. He only got 45% of the Utah vote in 2016 and 58% in 2020 after Republicans had been pulling 65-70% of the Utah vote in the previous four presidential elections.

The only ones who aren't like this are the ones who break away. These people were getting arrested during mask mandates, having 5,000 person warehouse parties and whole coalitions around not wearing masks.
The wierdest part about these Mormons are how they actually have been outside the world on missions, learning second languages and meeting people who don't look like them...yet their religion forces them to be conservative.
I found the vast majority of them to be Romney republicans tho. Out of maybe 20-30 I interacted with that were republican mormons, it was probably 70% that despised Trump, but you'd never call them liberal.
