I don't know where this narrative started that Migos is some epically huge act like yall claimin (it prolly started wit them callin themselves the biggest rap group ever and dikkriders believed it like Wayne callin himself the best rapper alive made sheep start sayin it too

), I can't stand when groupies like yall livin in a delusional stan ass bubble be thinkin just cause you and your folk fukk wit somethin that means everyone else does. Yall havin the audacity to say no one is bigger than them besides Kendrick and Drake callin them a commercial powerhouse like they Bone in their prime:unclecharlesdead:its you nikkas that are in the minority most people either never heard of them know their name but not their music or heard a song or 2 cause Migos never even had a platinum album until last year and that only did
131,000 copies in the first week wit only
44,000 bein pure album sales.

2
Wale albums sold more than that Ambition sold
164,000 first week and The Gifted debuted at #1 sellin
158,000 first week

and both of those albums only went Gold so I question if these nikkas really even went platinum considerin how low their sales were and the fact that they were certified 6 months later after startin off that slow, more than likely their label bought them shyts:mmmhmmiseeyou: but regardless their recent album that dropped in January hasn't even gone Gold yet but yall sayin they bigger than Cole who's had every album go platinum (wit Forest Hills goin 2x platinum) and his last 2 albums sellin
371,000 (
353,000 pure album sales) and
492,000 (
363,000 pure album sales) first week each.
You've had rappers from Rick Ross to Meek Mill sellin more too at their peaks so sayin Migos is the third biggest rap act right now is a flat out lie, ignorin certified legends like Jay and them its other newer rappers like Schoolboy Q and Lil Uzi Vert that had albums do similar numbers to Migos the only reason that group is as big as they are is from online streams.

Now that the singles charts count Youtube views and Spotify streams it helps songs from artists like Migos which would normally not even chart make the Hot 100 they had one #1 hit 2 others in the top 10 and 3 in the top 20 wit the rest bein mostly in the 50s-90s range.Their Versace song that fans on here gas up which was supposedly so influential didn't get any higher than 99 on the charts

so while they big most of their success is from cats watchin their videos and listenin online for free it aini't translatin to sales like other rappers and they nowhere near the level of success of the truly top tier rappers and definitely not groups throughout history.
