There are legit naive people out there who are that clueless especially since black plight in America isn't really discussed like that overseas. Someone on his team who knows better should have put him on game. Now he looks like an insensitive clown to Americans for the most part. Euros seemingly just don't give a fukk about offensive shyt.

Nobody is going to explain him anything in the French national team since the Black face is mainly an American thing (at least its history and its symbolic).
99% of French people never heard about it. I'm pretty sure the French Black players don't know the history behind it neither and can't lecture him. (Personally I've learned about it when I started traveling in the US). Also Griezmann's mentality is more Spanish than French and it's not in Spain that he's not going to learn about anti racist stuff... He likes the cool Black stuff from the US, like NBA and mainstream hip hop, don't expect him to read some Dubois.

You would be surprised actually. I can guarantee you that in France (and I'm pretty sure in Belgium, Sweden and part of the UK too) American racism is well discussed. French actually love to talk shyt about how racist Americans are. In my English classes in high school we used to watch videos of Rodney King's beating, LA riot etc. to talk about American civilization.
I give you that tho, most euros consider Americans and brits to be over-sensitive and avoiding when it comes to politics in general.
