Contrary to y'all, I think there will be huge new platforms that don't get bought out by Facebook.

They will be Chinese owned apps, like TikTok. Chinese are really ahead in the social media game from what I understand. Their domestic apps have a lot of features, integrations, and interactions that just aren't seen in our apps yet.

The US may start banning their apps though. They don't want big apps in the US to be owned by somewhat adversarial countries.

It would put Apple and other manufacturers in a tough spot if the chinese are closed off from their apps being used on their platforms.
