The good news is that it wont cost that much to retire by then. People will be retiring far earlier and wont really need it.

From what I’ve read, it won’t be “eliminated”
But it will be cut drastically. That shouldn’t mean too much considering it’s been cut every year due to not adjusting to inflation.

It’s criminal if thats the case. If they cut the amount down drastically people will still be pleased to be getting something even if its truthfully nothing. allowing more room to steal from people.
