Socially, If you're black, going to a PWI is just like going to a HBCU

There is really no integration for the majority of black people at PWI.

All the black people eat lunch at the same place, party at the same place, everybody fukking everybody and everybody knows the same gossip.


The only unique experience you get from going to a HBCU is being able to be taught by black professors(something I wish I had more of)


I just don't understand how some black people that go to PWI turn their nose up at HBCUs and vice versa

The best parties i went to were thrown by the white folks. Just show up and have a good time. You dont have to worry about nikkas watching who brought what bottle of liquor, people showing up specifically to fight or start shyt, police showing up because someone called in a noise complaint, etc..... At the white party all you have to do is show up and make sure you dont fall asleep because if you do they WILL fukk with you.

I associated with everybody. I wasnt on that black clique tip.


Funny thing is i would have went to an HBCU if they didnt fukk up my scholarship, transcript, and financial aid. At that point i knew what time it was and decided to not even mess with them anymore. And stories from every person i know who went to an HBCU confirm i made the right decision.

This is true. I went to a university that was something like 70% white. 9% black.

Being in the black scene was its own world within the school. A school with 20k+ but you always ran into the same 100 black people. Whether it be university functions, parties, eating, hanging out, gossip its like our minds were programmed to always gravitate towards each other

I went to a white soccer party once and it was like a whole new world

Its really not that bad. If you stay on top of your shyt and keep documentation of everything its not bad. I never had a problem.

I parties with white folks a few times, but for a majority of blacks at a PWI 99% of their social experience is going to be between all black people.

That's the way it is. People gravitate towards their own race.
