Anyone familiar with Socom can shed light on your opinions on this mod? I never played Socom but it always looked interesting. I'd play this over CS mechanics just off the fact I hate the damn spray patterns.

Are game mashups like this even a good idea?

The third person animations look pretty accurate and the maps are the same judging by the video. They got the voices down when you throw grenades too.

First person mode's gotta go. That's not SOCOM.

All in all, this appears to be shaping up nicely. I rarely game on PC anymore, but I'll get Counter-Strike to add this mod if it all comes together. GOAT online shooter with COD4. This is what Sony should have BEEN working on.

SOCOM 3 was the most disappointing game I've ever played. I'm not one for remasters, but I've been saying for years I'd pay full price for SOCOM II HD.
