What channels do you guys like to follow on YouTube for coding?

I honestly believe alot of those 'career advice' youtubers are failed programmers. They can't get a job as a programmer so they've made a youtube channel about......how to get a job as a programmer.

Some maybe but you can make more on youtube and more importantly, you are independent.
Programming is being commoditised and that is reducing personal freedom, job satisfaction and salaries.

Yeah i can see that some do come off as being bitter a$$holes.

Colt Steele, one of the few people that seems to genuinely enjoy teaching.


He has a few inexpensive courses on Udemy, but his following is so big there, I think he just uses YouTube to give away material that he doesn't plan on including in his courses. Few traces of upselling or pitching his paid products unlike a lot of others I've seen. Granted he doesn't go into as much detail as he would if he were covering the topic in one of his courses
