Heard about this. Using Protocol Buffers which should make performance better than RESTful with JSON. From what i heard you should be able to call methods for a remote server as if it were local.

I watched alot of youtube videos trying to understand grpc but I was confused. Until I came across this guy:
He explains it so well to me. Some times you need the right teacher. Some folks just regurgitate the wikipedia definition and you're left more confused than before.

Has anybody here used or know somebody that was enrolled in Thinkful, App Academy, or similar coding boot camps? A friend of mine doesn’t like his job and is looking to switch fields. I wasn’t sure how companies view graduates from boot camps as I’m not in the field. He’s also thinking about quitting his job to do it as opposed to doing it part time. How was the job search and how long does it take to really find a job
