@TENET

sent an email to them and actually got a response. Guess the ad is real

Me
Subject: $600k?!?!
Message: Jesus christ. Never thought programmers get paid that much.

Response
Hedge funds, Quant funds, proprietary trading funds - all pay way more than that for good programmers who can make money for their investors...

Especially since a lot of trading is done electronically- the best automated trading systems are the ones making the most money on the markets.

Warm Regards,
Bertha.

Don't want to talk about last semester, passed all my classes, with average-above average grades (range of 70's). Extremely disappointing. Especially Automata and Computability Theory and Data Structures. Mastering Data Structures is something that can done in my spare time tbh, I'm not too bummed about that. The other one I am, because its important for things like Data Science. I need to really improve my logical/critical thinking.
I know what I did wrong, however, and what needs to be done to improve.

Moving on.

Anyone have any resources for Software Engineering and Declarative Programming/Paradigms? Those are probably two of the harder courses I will be taking this semester.

Already did discrete. But I fully agree I need to look at it again, I didn't kill it the first time around, thanks for the link.

Haven't done stats yet though so I'll check that out too.

My logical thinking is definitely not where it needs to be. :francis:

Heartfelt thanks breh.

Leetcode and make your own projects. The more you code the better you get at it.

Don't get bummed out by grades. If you got a good portfolio employers could care less about that shyt real talk.

Is it me or is reading javascript code a fukking pain in the ass? :unimpressed:Nesting so much shyt, so many brackets, cant easily determine scope of a function. Seeing curly brackets for something and being like why is that even being used :mjcry:. Anonymous functions making shyt hella confusing. Reading React code with html tags.

I have training in C#, still beginner but not a complete neophyte, but i dont remember having these kind of problems.:snoop:

Still trucking tho.:youngsabo:
