Ya'll should listen to what he said.
He said companies may say we want to see 50/50 on manual work vs AI
Then someone else did 100% AI and got the job, so he was saying even if they say do 50/50, don't, do 100% AI and you'll get the job.

Surprisingly he also said companies are saying they don't care about security, they only care about speed and features. WOW

Purposefully driving the cost up on everything to suck the life out of people so they will accept the new digital currency slave system.
I'm not religious, but this is what it is.

I've been saying since forever, UBI will not be freedom. It'll be slavery. Look who will be granting and approving it. They're going to try and beat the population down so much, any little speck of charity will be looked as salvation from the Epstein class that the people will go along with any sick agenda that they have.

Gonna be hard for this sector to get any sympathy as this group has yearsss of documented snobby takes online of creating AI to replace everyone else jobs and they didnt realize they would be first in line.. How they work for xyz company and make incredible salary, work one hour, work from home, incredible benefits, they gonna change the world, disrupt every industry and put everyone on subscription for everything they used to own from Music to their doorbell.. Good luck to him, he got skills and experience, he will find something soon enough..

They were incredibly snobby, making fun of everyone else who didn't have a STEM degree. I don't wish too much failure for them because my close friend works in tech, in a non-tech role, and he has nothing to do with the snobby STEM crowd. With that said, it's sick how these companies operate. They had people making $200K, $250K thinking it was all good, that they made it, and that it would last forever. Wholetime the greedy execs at the top were playing the long game. Had these goofies build the technology, playing ping pong on breaks and then once the AI tech got good enough, fired all of them :francis:

There is a loud minority of neurodivergent devs who don't play well with others. Majority of devs are going to work getting their checks and going home. Your beef is with the former. And devs don't actually want subscriptions...the product team is who decides what the devs build. Your beef is also with the MBAs in the c-suite not devs.

Honestly, folks need to recognize they can work most other desk jobs if you have a STEM degree.

The people who these tech layoffs suck for are anyone who wants a desk job with no degree because sooner or later people will start applying them that have good degrees.

If you want to work in tech and the same moonshot paydays, it’ll be tough because competition is what it is. If you settle for simple decent-paying desk jobs though, shouldn’t have trouble finding work. It’s like basketball: you need to hunt for mismatches. Take a job to hold you over and keep applying to better jobs.

If anything being tech savvy means you’ll have a pretty easy time automating desk jobs than someone else.

Aside from maybe saying that they work remote, which is true for many post covid. You’re talking about a small fraction of the group.
