Gonna be hard for this sector to get any sympathy as this group has yearsss of documented snobby takes online of creating AI to replace everyone else jobs and they didnt realize they would be first in line.. How they work for xyz company and make incredible salary, work one hour, work from home, incredible benefits, they gonna change the world, disrupt every industry and put everyone on subscription for everything they used to own from Music to their doorbell.. Good luck to him, he got skills and experience, he will find something soon enough..

Most engineerings are not working on AI to automate away jobs. We are are working on small software components for a large company. And we too were tired of the engineers that go online and show off their lifestyle at work of how they work 2 hours a day from home and chill the rest of the day and collect a 200k check. That’s not reality for the vast majority of engineers outside of like 10 companies

Oh I learned awhile these folks aren't smart. Working in corporate America they are just obsessive and loquacious. This is often mistaken for intelligence. One giveaway is, look at the amount of solutions randomly offered; Elon Musk is probably the most notable one who just says shyt.

My thing is, some kind of sovereign wealth fund will be developed if AI really comes to absolution. Problem is, you know the stipend won't be enough and 2 you know they already have prescribed undesirables. They want to make sure people are dependent on the industry. And industry will crawl to a halt because if competition declines, innovation declines. It's not a solve unfortunately because what we will subsist on won't be enough, nor will it be quality products.

Just 3 years ago Corporations had no problem with hiring entry level workers. The people running Corporate America are just psychopaths.
