this man cleaned out 168, beat the boogeyman of 175, 2 times one by KO. he ain't clinch him to death in this fight, so haters gotta give him credit on this one.

yeah it was 3 -4 unanswered BODY shots and there was probably 10 seconds left...i don't think the fight should have been stopped considering. but who knows what Tony Weeks was thinking at the time.
He was thinking "this dude keeps looking at me begging for help" lol

Another fight? Breh you lost twice...:gucci:

Yeah, that's not happening.

A guy of Ward's status, you are fortunate to get him in the ring twice. The first fight justified a rematch. Your not getting a third fight. This chapter is closed.

As for Ward, I hope he doesn't dismiss the idea of Adonis Stevenson, the way he did Bute at 168. In fact, I think it's beneficial to Ward that Adonis stays undefeated so he can have an opponent out there.

Borderline shots with the high trunks. Ward knew they were Borderline too and paused a couple times expecting the ref to step in. I don't think the shots were definitively low, nor deliberately low. That's the thing I hate about shots on the belt as its damn near like charging vs blocking fouls, or offensive interference vs defensive.

Regardless, I think Ward was on his way to getting Kovalev out of there anyway, regardless of the Borderline bodyshots/low blows. Kovalev was struggling even prior to the questionable shots. His torso is his Achilles. Great fight though.

Adonis said he wanted to get the winner. Lets see if he does good on his word

Kov should've taken a knee. You can't rely on the refs, he should've retaliated to buy himself some time.
