WE the posters over there had a good run, everything about the site was fukking trash except the forums and that was only good because of the people/humor.
So nah, they didn't have a good run. WE all did. We took our talents to South Beach like Lebron and now you see what they look like.

....that's what I keep saying......I haven't been up there in several weeks...but I wouldn't want all thoese great threads and information to just belly flop 
.......I'm going to sound like Canibus here...but imagine all the EXTRA shiit we could possibly know about if the Library of Alexandria had managed to save all those books ....yeah it sounds
comparing sohh to Library of Alexandria ... but after "construction" is over....and all those threads are gone..... that will be in my estimation one fuucked up day....

Wow. I just saw it today. I spent alot of time on there (almost 6 years), but at the end of the day all things come to an end.
It's sad, but f*ck em. They didn't care about the community that made the site what it was...even though that WE were the source of 99% of the front page's info and news tips at one point in time.
Plus, in a weird way...I really wanted that site to just disappear. I wanted my old web persona to disappear and I wanted all my posts to disappear. It's weird, but I kind of wanted a clean slate cause I was not the person I am now back then. If some of y'all can understand that biz. There were alot of classic moments on there that are gone forever and that sucks...but life goes on.
SOHH was the first real hip-hop forum I stuck on...I used to post on UGHH forums but thats some fukkin wackass bullshyt and the majority of that in instigated by the wack ass posters. Had some good times on there tho..I was on Nobody Smiling heavy and that site disappeared. Sohh was like a second home to me.
Seeing the front page of that site today was like coming back to the house I used to grow up in after a decade only to find it's been bulldozed into the ground and it's now a park. It ain't coming back either...the future of that site is either a new school forum that won't have the same appeal or draw...or a generic front screen with stock photos and a mini-search engine with a domain for sale tag on it.
I will say this though...I've NEVER seen a forum fall off like that...EVER! That shyt took almost 15 years to make it what it was and it just completely went to shyt in less than 4 months. I think that's a record.

Another thing that I realized that was mad fukked up about that forum...we essentially had to pay to post on a forum where you could only post links. They just couldn't keep up with the times. If this site hadn't popped up...facebook would of killed it anyway.
