That's what I think the most fukked up part was. Dame was the a$$hole to make it all work. He literally was the bad cop to Jay's good cop. Jay has to keep it political and play nice so he didn't burn bridges when it came to artist relationships/jumping on tracks. Record industry have some pretty souless people, you gotta imagine they have an artist and all they have to offer is money. This has to be a very stressful position, look how Peebles did TLC. TLC made $100million for the label and got a 60k check, the devil is in the details. There is nothing unique about Dame and Roc's ending.

He was bragging about it on the radio, so for him to say he denied it is BS. Then again, he is the same dude that said the cat that shot at him threw the Roc sign up, so it shouldn't surprise.

i think it was Bleek that said once Cam and them got there the energy was crazy at first because they felt it was their last shot and they were making it count, but after a while they literally thought they took over the place.

Bleeks people had confrontations with Jims peoples and Jim wasn't even signed to the Roc and according to Bleek when he asked Cam to cool it all Cam brushed it all off and said he was only interested in getting his money or words to that effect.

also, if Dame was really throwing everything behind Dipset, he would have gave Jim that mil he asked for to make his solo album but he knew better and that just set Jim off on an extra grind and worked out in the end.
