That's not how that works. They don't just slap their names on somebody else's work and call it a day. The Trackmasters explained how it works. They got credits on "Who Shot Ya" alongside Nysheim Myric. Nysheim made the beat, but they ended up adding things or redoing it, which is how they ended up with credit.
Why would a label force a big name producer on a song, when those guys charge like 100K and upwards? They'd spend less on the lesser name. By your logic, if the unknown guy is doing all the work anyway, the label doesn't even benefit from having the big name when they could pay the lesser known for making hits.
I remember when Britney Spears had Danja helm her album with no involvement with Tim. Compare the sound and the success to JT's Futuresex/Lovesounds or Nelly Furtado's Loose and it's not even close.

Danja never ghosted Timbaland beats:
1) Danja goes in depth on how Futuresex/Lovesounds and Loose were created and talks about how a lot of those instrumentals were nearly finished before Danja added anything to it.
2) And anyone familiar with Danja's production and Timbaland's solo work knows that the work Danja did with Timbaland wasn't all Danja. Danja's solo beats don't have the bounce or the knock that Timbo's do. Danja's drums are tiny. Timbaland's solo work doesn't have the layers of instruments that his co-production with Danja do.
3) Britney being fat and mental is irrelevant especially considering her work with Danja was after the fact.
