Sure, that would be unjustified shooting. Just because somebody looked at you funny, you kill them.

The question becomes why does God need a defense for killing though? By whose standard would it be wrong to kill?

Whatchu mean why God need a defense?? shyt cuz if killing is wrong then it's wrong for you too. Not just who you told not to do it!

What I mean is why does God have to follow the rule He created for humans? That rule applies to us.

For example, our parents had rules for us growing up. Some of those rules they didn't have to obey themselves. They were created for us. It's like the episode of the Cosby show where Rudy had to go to bed at a certain time. Were the Huxtables wrong for staying up late themselves? No, those rules were created for Rudy. Not for them.

That's what the book says.

You stuck on this term good. A more appropriate word for God would be perfect.

Even using the term Good for Jesus, he was a very stern individual. I can assume he came off as "not nice" or "mean". But yes still good overall.
No, my brother, when the gospel where Jesus states that it is made, he is making an overall reference to the nature of God as stated in Micah and other places.

Also, you are right. I am stuck on good because, without that, much of who God is cannot be understood. Even with things such as the goodness of God, this law, etc. You cannot have perfect without good.

Nice and mean are OPINION. Good is not. Good is the character quality of something. if God is not purely good/perfect, then neither can Jesus be, and that destroys so much of the scripture, if not all.

Bad example.
A parent telling a kid to go to bed at night has multiple logical reasons. Kids oversleep for school, etc
You can't compare that to killing people because you didn't like something they did

Ain't no free will.
Do what I say or get punished with eternal fire is not free will bruh.
That's like muscling somebody. "Gimme the money or I'ma blow ya brains out" "well your honor, he had free will. He didn't have to gimme his money."
:what:

If that's what you want to believe.......
Go ahead.
Everybody has an opinion, no matter how wrong it is.

If you do believe the bible, then why wouldn't you want what's advantageous to you? There is no muscling somebody if you don't believe because you're doing what you want anyway, which you are free to do, and you wouldn't even care about hell because it's not even real to you. For those who do believe, it's not looked at as muscling either, it's only looked at as someone showing them what's best for their life and everyone is seeking that because it is impossible to do something that has no advantage to you.
