This was a super easy game outside of the Valkyries thing and even I was able to beat it eventually. I am not going to argue with your other issues because that's a personal taste problem but the game was not difficult. Maybe lower your difficulty.

I like the game, but, the gaming world likes this stoic, dryer Kratos and mistake it with being deep.

I couldn’t get into this. I think it’s the whole fatherhood angle. I hate children and I don’t usually like stories that heavily involve them. Fatherhood has no appeal to me and most of the game was just the guy going around with his son.

:why:THE MOST FRUSTRATING AND OBNOXIOUS EXPERIENCEI HAVE EVER EMBRACED IN MY 40 YEARS OF GAMING :mindblown:

  • I did not want Dark Souls mechanics in my GOW game
  • I did not asked to be a father, when I'm doing that IRL
  • The game has a shyt time telling you where to go and what to do (despite having a compass to guide you to the main objective)
  • The leveling up system fukking sucks and soul crushing
  • The grind to get better is obnoxious when the game feels more linear than open world
  • The boy is so fukking annoying, I wanted to throw him off the boat
  • The little blue bald headed dude is the saving grace of the game
  • fukk the fact that the game is so badly paced, that I could end up fighting OP mobs despite being undergear
  • My god the soundtrack is abysmal
  • Kratos being as interesting as a mental patient on Zoloft is not what I signed up for
After my 20th death involving trying to free the dragon, I deleted the game along with the sequel.

This isn't my God of War that I loved during the PS2/3 and PSP days :mjcry:
Wait you are serious or is this a troll ?

Edit
I see you was serious

Yea I was surprised because when the game came out not one person said a bad thing about it. Except me
Man I couldn’t get into that game to save my life. That first fight against the stranger was dope and I thought this was about to be the goat experience and then the rest of the game happened.

Yea I don’t like nothing about that game for all the reasons you said. I don’t have kids but I damn sure don’t want to use an annoying kid in a video game.
I was super disappointed

I tried to tell brehs... that shyt was a 6/10 at best. Movement was clunky as hell, the combat was ok/decent (although could've had more high scale enemies. I wanted to feel like Odysseus in that bytch).. and nothing really happened the whole game. Plus it was mad depressing.. Could've at least gave us some flashbacks to a happier time type shyt. I was gonna play Ragnarok cause I did beat the game but it took me forever to get through so I'm like fukk it.
When has any GOW game ever been happier times!?! :mjtf: only GOW stage that was good feeling and happy times was the Astro Bot stage :mjlol:
