It wasn't even about the sex scene. The movie had a different feel to it. The OG felt more real and they did a much better job building up the characters. The twist in the original version was done differently too.

I agree on this but I'll say the OG version did a better job of making you look past its shortcomings. Spike's version (which really should say: the studio's version since they cut Spike's version to pieces) is a bit more cartoonish which makes the flaws a bit more glaring.

I am a big fan og the OG version but still really enjoyed Spikes version. I really only had a problem with the reveal, thought it wasnt done as well. Plus the villian/bad guy in the OG was much better.
