Reminds me of the old days..

Weird crazy TO chics... especially east enders are craziest.

Took 1.5 years to get one to stop stalking, She called from 4 different numbers. She had 2 work phones, and her own phone. Had to block her sisters number.

A simple: Hey, Tasha right? ... Hi I'm Joe.

Would have avoided this mess.

Unmatched before you got back to your car?

The pettiness of online dating will never cease to amaze me.

Dude had a real life Seinfeld moment, and instead of using that as an ice breaker/laugh, he lies to protect the first girl

@Double Rice No Beans

Sohh I was talking to this light skin chick on hinge for like a day and we decided to meet up at Starbucks at 8pm.

Sohh I get there and I’m waiting and there’s a few people there etc. I look up and this light skin chick looks up and starts walking towards me so I’m like this is her :ehh:.

She says sorry she was late she has council and I was like oh you’re a lawyer and she’s like nah I’m a councilor I told you. And I’m like sure yeah :ehh:

We start talking for five minutes, she tells me about her dog and where she grew up. In my mind I’m like why the hell isn’t anything matching up but maybe online people don’t want to divulge anything :ehh:

We are in line at this point and my phone is buzzing etc. but I’m not going to take it out .

As we get closer to the cashier she’s like so what are you going to get Kevin and I was like :dahell: that’s not my name.
And then :wtf: I realized brehs I’ve been talking to the wrong girl for the past 5 minutes and she’s been talking to the wrong guy.

Because I was literally just talking to this chick for a day I just saw lightskin and she was lightskin and thought it was her. :mjlol: and I guess this Kevin she was meeting looked like the young gawd :ehh:

Awkward as hell I left abruptly and she was like oops this is awkward

Then I met the other chick and she's like i saw you talking to some other girl and I lied and said like yeah just ran into an old friend. :lupe:

I thought the date went well at the end she gave me hug and said she has a nice time and we said bye.

By the time I get to my car and check hinge she unmatched me :picard:

I did find that first chick contact due to her job and sent an email apologizing because I did left rudely
So you fumbled 2 kitty cats.... You better than this champ.

I would have kept it 100% with both. Tell second chick "look showed up before you and I was confused for a minute that nothing was adding up until she called me by the wrong name. Then I realized it wasn't you so we parted ways"

If girl 2 don't have a sense of humor then it's not meant to be. As far as girl one you should still have left it on a light note. Now the door is closed. You can't reverse and redo that first encounter it prob left a negative impression that you ditched her abruptly.

Reminds me of a time I was getting choosing signals from a co-worker while my girl was getting ready to give me the :camby: and I decided to try and work shyt out when I had a better younger version of the same girl giving me a layup. In the end I fumbled both bags. Even my boss at the time told me I was a dummy for not fukking my co-worker. Imagine that . :laff:

It's all in the psychology of using apps. Easy come easy go.. that easy access comes with the idea that people are expendable. Hence why ghosting became so popular. I find the idea of serious online dating to be a joke.

The early dating app users were straight to the point of understanding that it was hook up central. Now people pretend to want to make something more of it but their actions speak different. The last few years I've been back on meeting people offline. The atmosphere around online dating is terrible. I see the same profiles on there for years. shyt became social media. :laff:

I was on that first wave of online daters. The glory days.

It's crazy when I jumped back on OKcupid in 2017-2018, and saw the same damn women that were on that shyt in 2009-2010, still 'dating as a hobby'
