I've been shooting weddings for over 4 years and you run into quite a few people who wants to be cheap on the photographer on their special day.
You're a better man than me.
When I first got my Pentax K10D a lot of my relatives and other latino families wanted me to shoot their birthday parties/sweet 15s/weddings...
But I refused. I probably should have done the jobs, but I know what good photography is...and I wasn't comfortable knowing that my pictures wouldn't be as good as a professional that they could hire.
It was a sucker move by me though, because I could have had a great side hustle and would have been getting paid and experience at the same time.
Now I have a Nikon D300S and I hardly use it except for family get togethers. I'll dust that bytch off and bring with me to Manhattan once the weather heats up.
