again, my family is african so we didn't really have "c00n" in my vocab, but being born and raised in cali and rural georgia I never heard black folks call each other that...I've heard "uncle tom" and even "sambo" but never c00n..that's just my personal experience

It's just this generation's version of calling someone a sambo. I personally think it's in bad taste to use, especially by those that consider themselves pro-black. I'm aware that it's not really my place speak on it, but that's just my personal feeling towards the word.
