Serious question for y'all that have the S and that's on PC...I been using Virtual Super Resolution to upscale from 1080p to "4k". There's definitely a big difference, but how good does native 4k look compared to VSR? Depending on the answers I may go ahead and cop that S and a new TV, but I don't want to if I'm not gonna be "wowed" by the difference

VSR (amd) and DSR (nvidia) are for "downsampling". that means the game is rendered at a higher resolution, and then scaled down to the resolution of the display. this is a very brute force method of antialiasing, but it definitely helps clean up the image. I always use DSR when I can

but no, it's not gonna look as good as actually rendering natively at that higher resolution

what the S is doing is "upscaling" (or "upsampling"). in general the results will be kind of blurry. some upscalers use tricks to clean it up, but it's never gonna look as good as it would being rendered natively

Good look, breh. To sum it up, that's what I figured. Guess I gotta break bread if I want the real thing :snoop:
