I extern for a federal judge right now - please don't try and do your normal babble on this case - unreliability isn't much of a factor when there are medical records, gun discharge evidence, a clearly aggrieved party, and statements from both the victim and witnesses.

A black man, discharging a firearm against a woman in today’s society? Nah something is up. Either they charging him with this because of political pressure or they don’t have enough on him and they hope he pleads out.

I think his lawyer knows more than me. I’ll just watch from the sidelines.

You should check out the local states for applied charges by federal prosecutors and state prosecutors - felony assault is an incredibly common charge - attempted murder requires vastly more evidence and some running intent + certainty that actions will lead to the result.
