I'm no Matlock but they didn't charge him with attempted murder so essentially they don't think he shot to kill even at super close range. I didn't see anything about shell casings or even bullets in feet so again it seems like drunk nikkas in a car gun goes off Meg either gets out of car to check her injuries or was "shot at" outside of car and got back in the car because injuries weren't seen as serious enough to go to the hospital or they were but not serious enough to want TMZ coverage.
Whatever happened in the car Meg didn't seem it serious enough to go to the cops and if the cops didn't come nobody would know this happened.

No, the fact is this idiot made a album about a situation where he allegedly shot a women. They waited all these months to gather all the evidence and information they can. But either he has the world's worst lawyers and management team (and that might be the case because he didn't have any merch bundles) or like Meg he didn't listen to them. I assumed that his lawyer was told that the case was in the "cold case files" and low-key dropped. Because if they were really investigating or didn't reach out to Meg to see what she wanted (and she said serveral times she wanted the whole thing squashed) and dude made an album taking shots (see what I did there) at everybody then that's Donkey of the Century moves.
So either Meg got mad and ran to the cops so the DA had to bring charges or they found the shell casings.
Either way it will all come out in court or not. I was arrested and looking at 20 years and I walked too.
