• Only person Thanos actually checks for and makes sure he ain't fukking shyt up.
• Immune to mind control of any kind due to sheer WILLPOWER and EGO
• Stole Silver Surfer's board and skated in space
• Technological genius, battle commander, .etc
• Giant library of arcane knowledge
• One of the best sorcerers (can fukk up superman even)
• Latveria

to me he went godmode in 08-09 when he allowed his 'master' the marquis of death and his 'apprentice' to manipulate the fantastic four and 'him'...they sent doom back to the mezosoic age, was ripped to shreds by prehistoric dinosaurs, allowed himself [back in time] to be 'found' by the marquis of death, and travel with him for centuries, killed A WATCHER, all in order to properly learn the dark arts, and SETTLE THE SCORE WITH REED. Doom WAS THE APPRENTICE and was waiting for the moment to strike Marquis of death for centuries.

In Unthinkable, he feigned leaving science and technology for his childhood love Valeria. But of course he was too petty for that and really just found her so he could sacrifice her life so he could accelerate his learning of sorcery that he abandoned to master science and technology instead. Maybe the most evil act of the last 15 years.

Unthinkable is a pretty good story but I'd say my favorite one is Dr Strange & Dr Doom: Triumph & Torment, where the two team up to rescue the soul of Doom's mother from hell.
