I don’t even think there is a strong will to keep things closed from people anymore.

I understood and supported closing things for a while when trolls were getting out of hand, but that was YEARS ago and things have gotten pretty stale.

They don’t even need to fully open registration forever, but at least do a limited opening for a few weeks or a month or something.

and keep the new members on a short leash. if they acting wild or like 4c*c trolls then get rid of them asap. i’m pretty sure there is a way to put a post count limit on who can make threads too, so they don’t just run up on here starting shyt. make them earn that right.

anyone who is reasonably suspected of being a banned rejoining troll can get tossed immediately too.

i’m sure you’d still get plenty of genuine new posters.
