People got tired of the slow ass website and freezing during games so BKdagawd and brooklynson made this website which is lightning quicc.
Almost instantly everyone from SOHH came to the coli.
What made membership really explode though was alll the lurkers who couldnt post on SOHH because they didnt have a paid email, were now able to post on the coli since you dont need taht bullshyt

What was it like?

Crazy posters, but it was kind of wacc. Personally i think AHH was better, and so is Urbanchat.

It was just like the coli....the antics, the posters were diverse. The difference are not being able to embed anything, and the emphasis on sports/working out up here is a major difference. Another difference is posters seem to be more intrinsic to the on-goings up here which is cool.

Sohh is/was cool....but seeing that its a dustbowl right now....I'm usually there just to grab old threads and recycle them here o

The Coli just expanded what Sohh was doing to more people. All the lurkers of sohh combined with posters IS THE COLI...and throw in a mix of folks that somehow found out about this site..

I can't hate on sohh, even though I understand why folks do. I've said it half a dozen times, it literally was a pioneer in hip hop forums....its like hating on your old relatives. Their old and out of sync, but you got to give them their props for just existing in general and being a foundation/blueprint for what we have today......

mods were bytch ass nikkas and cacs...banned ppl they didnt like for personal reasons...shyt was ran like a jail house...and the site got hacked by ***** and crashed like twice a day
