the visual part of the album, the movie thing? was so weird. i loved it, i loved how fukking weird it was. maybe it’s cause i was high lol

nikkas is just repeating shyt that others are saying with their criticisms. Pathetic
Nah...this aint it. And it's frustrating because there's some groundwork for a good album here. For the most part, these songs are about absolutely nothing, which would be perfectly fine if they felt somewhat finished. Keeping it 100, some songs on A Seat At The Table felt like they were only half done, but they were executed far better on that album. Here...we've got a bunch of glorified demo sessions. Tracks like Binz and Beltway would be so much better if they were full songs, but as they are, they're pretty much interludes between other interludes. Almeda feels like the only "finished" song on here and I can do without some trappers little brother on it. And whoever first made the assessment was right, this DOES feel like a potential Screw tap at times...but that just adds to the frustration because why not go all the way with it?
Unfortunately, I think the praise for A Seat At The Table might've gassed her up to release an album like this. Pleas are being copped in here but I'm not sure if more people will let it slide. At the very least, if she drops another, better project, this one will be properly addressed for the unfinished mess it is.

Got that thump in the trunk, riding around or sitting at home on a warm day with the doors open feeling. Nope, not an album that you're going to find songs that really express moments/issues/feelings, but it's an album for when you're feeling content and chill.
Can't wait until this fukk ass rain/clouds roll out so I can really vibe (hit yall with this word again :umadd: ) with this in nice weather.

what is there to juelz about? i like the album despite it being a string of unfinished songs...no one is calling it a masterpiece, but this, like jhene aiko's album everyone hated, has a coherent vibe that you can put on and just chill to, don't have to worry about skipping songs that don't fit the mood you're in because the whole project fits that mood.

The album is more annoying than something to vibe too? She’s either singing the same words over and over and over or humming melodies that amount to nothing
