I wonder if Standing On The Corner had anything to do with this album? I know they worked together, some of the tracks kinda remind me of them.

This too smooth so far. I put it on as background music and ended up giving it my full attention. Shouldve known after Seat at The Table this wouldnt disappoint

Off 1st listen I enjoyed it alot.
Only criticism is, it doesn't really have any stand out tracks , like don't touch my hair and where do we go from here, like the last album, but that may change with some visuals. Def dope though , Def downloading and saving in the drive.

That's the experimental aspect of the album; it's a texture album in the sense that you're experiencing the music differently from how you would listen to an album with the pop aspects you're affiliating with melody/lyrics. The focus is on how the music and vocals work together to create a feeling and vibe, whereas on an album like A Seat At The Table, the goal is to draw attention to the big catchy choruses and explicit thematic subject matter. It's something I see a lot of new alternative R&B artists are doing with their music
As i listen at work this is exactly what it is.
