i like the album. Im a fan of jazz and i see where she was trying to go with the use of space. I hear the Stevie Wonder influences as well. Im glad i didn't feed into the reviews on here. Some of the same folks that hate this type of music like unimaginative shyt like Chris Brown and Ella Mai. Solange made a vibe album and i aint mad. At the same time, i can acknowledge it aint for everybody

I dig the album. It's the exact vibe I love hearing from Solange. I've always been into her jazzy-soulful tracks.
There's a certain sound I look for from her, just like I do with The Internet. And she came through on this one again for me. I hear a lot of jazz and 70's soul in there, and that's what I'm into. So this album hit just right, to me.

Copping pleas? More like I enjoy the album. You obviously give a fukk about metacritic score otherwise why bring it up? It touch a nerve(and you didn’t even quote me instead posting some sneak shyt. Thanks for low key admitting that). Nobody quoted you, tagged you, negged you, etc beforehand. You have your opinion on it. Cool. Move on. Telling people it’s a miss or whatever and to accept it like it’s fact or rule of law is weird. You pretty much doing what you accusing other of. And a lot of you dudes do that. Just come in threads of things you don’t like and constantly try to force your opinions on others. I said that 2 chains album suck on release day. Let's really be honest here, a lot of y'all want threads to be echo chambers of praise or negativity, but surprise surprise, the real world doesn't work like that and you can't handle it once someone posts something you don't agree with.
And seriously, fukk how we feel about it, this album is objectively lesser than the last one. You're putting in more of an effort to defend this album than Solange did in making it. There's no way in hell or heaven what sounds like a collection of unfinished demos took longer than 2 months or so to make. But hey...some of yall liked the last one so much you're going to make excuses for this one (and then when the next one comes out, I GUARANTEE the same ones defending this will admit it was lackluster unless it somehow manages to be worse). Do what you want but don't get emotional when people call that type of behavior out.
The only reason we're even talking about a metacritic score is because you're the one who originally posted it.
