Still behind my early thoughts after running it a few times. Dreams is where she gets in her bag. I like the tempo changes on the 2nd half of certain tracks like Time(is). 3/4ths of this project is vibe heavy. Late night summer drive or cookout ish as the sun goes down.

Sound of Rain is fire! She sounds like Aaliyah on the 1st chorus. And Pharrell killed that beat too, the second beat reminds me of SGP.

N the titles will go over everyone heads but Texas heads

Yo, after seeing some of the music videos for a few of the songs, I finally saw it, or got it.

But now that you've broke it down how this album is like a screw cassette it makes sense now

Ironic, Ridin' Dirty is my favorite UGK album and as you've said before, that's like a screw cassette and I didn't get it until seeing the a few of the videos for this album

i like the album. Im a fan of jazz and i see where she was trying to go with the use of space. I hear the Stevie Wonder influences as well. Im glad i didn't feed into the reviews on here. Some of the same folks that hate this type of music like unimaginative shyt like Chris Brown and Ella Mai. Solange made a vibe album and i aint mad. At the same time, i can acknowledge it aint for everybody

I think this album completely threw me for loop but seeing the music videos for it and going back and listening to it again, I see the brilliance in the music

Got around to this after Stay Flo was in a Spotify playlist. This is a good album. Has a lot of songs, but it's digestible due to the time.
