Some are predicting the rich will leave NYC. How long will it take?

People have always made their loot there and moved out. Make their money, get married, start families, retire...they want space, better climate, better benefits, so they move. It's just that those numbers typically got back-filled with new people moving in because they were sold the dream.

That mystique wore thin a long time ago. Once that belief peters out, that's where the fun starts.

They have been talking about the rich leaving all of the big cities and that shyt has not happened outside of a few retards. The vast majority of people with wealth are not trying to live in Idaho, Wyoming or Alabama. Look at where wealth and rich people are concentrated around the world: It is almost all either in or around big cities.

Scare tactics to get people to switch up but they not leaving New York City, stop it.

Im sure theres people that would fill in right behind them......they wouldnt be missed......

Exactly.

This city is a damn meat grinder.

Even if you were born and raised her the moment you leave you are just as worthless just like when you were here.

The machine keeps on churning.

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
depending on his policies itll probably go the way San Fransisco or Chicago is going.
Major companies moving to places like Miami and other southern cities.
:patrice: naw breh.

NYC is a cultural epicenter, like Paris. Rich people don't live in NYC because of industry, they move and stay here because it's 'cool'. The fashion, art, history.

Whereas other cities are basically driven by one or two industries, that really isn't the case for NYC.

Even average people that move at times regret it. People talk shyt about big cities/Metro areas in CA/East Coast or like Chicago but then have to deal with the boring shyt and etcetera where it is "cheaper".

They tried this already. Here's the problem there's very few places in America that can support the infrastructure big enterprise would need. Public transportation is trash everywhere except NYC, DC, Chicago, Philly and San Fran.

Also Wall Street isn’t going anywhere.

Not to mention there just isn’t anywhere down south or in flyover states that replicates the food, arts, entertainment and culture those rich ppl love in NYC.
