Above the fray.
EDIT #2: Met with the mother of the boy today, teacher, principal, my daughter and the boy.

Teacher confirmed she saw the shove but didn't hear the curse words.

Little boy denies blatantly touching her butt but apologizes for the shove. My daughter insists he did it, but he says it was an accident on a field trip. :beli:

I explained to the mom that I would have taken the time to find her first, but when a girl reports that she's being bullied AND touched, gotta take action. :manny:

She didn't say much. She gets it. She looked more annoyed that she had to miss work than anything else. I was really looking to see if there was a dad around... didn't seem like it... :snoop:

Needless to say, my daughter and this boy won't be in the same groups in class for the foreseeable future.

Case closed??? We'll see.

I didn't get the chance to do it since I had to go into the office myself... but I'm gonna talk to my daughter again about the touching the butt incident. I gotta be real careful about this shyt.
what is your wife's/girl's take on this situation?

teacher saw the shove, but did she reprimand the boy at the time?

at any rate, well handled by you. both kids know that adults are monitoring their actions towards each other.

I'd go to the school and give the boy a "stern talk" while your daughter watches. Need to show your daughter you got her back always.
At the same time you can't really run up on someone else's kids without them present either though. Reverse the situation and say your daughter bullied the boy, you would want the boys parents to come to you and not confront a damn 8 year old. Even if my son was in the wrong in the first place it would have to be on sight if I heard about a (relative) stranger trying to discipline my child.

She wanted me to damn near kill the boy... she was furious and wanted me to handle him ASAP. I had to let her know we'll go through the proper channels :heh: which I was totally prepared to do until we were driving to school yesterday and that's when my daughter added in the butt touching incident and I went into :damn: mode and approached the boy. Looking back I should not have done that. I lost my cool on that little piece of info, but I need to get all the facts. smh :lupe: i hope she didn't embellish that part I would be so disappointed!

someone talking like a serial killer, and not cognitive.
or aware of an ounce of urban intelligence, whatsoeva.
have you actually sire'd a child into the world?

if so,...
you need some idle time to ramp up.

This right here.

Seems like the teacher allowed this to escalate more than it should have. The teacher didn't take proper action, the girl notices (feeling unprotected) and tells her dad.

you still seem to be skating around what precipitated the shove. Were they engaged in an argument about something or he just randomly pushed her? Seems like the teacher would know more.
Don't matter

Talk all the shyt you want but don't touch.

Y’all trying to act like you’d jump bad on a parent that talked to your kid sound like idiots. Now if breh hemmed him up and was yelling at him, that’s one thing. But he went and asked the kid why he pushed his daughter and then setup a conference with the parents and teacher. Why are y’all assuming he ran up on this kid all wild?

And breh, if you did run up on him, you’re a weirdo, but questioning the kid as to what happened ain’t an issue IMO, but I would’ve went to the teacher first to broker the conversation between the four of you.

you need to stay off the internet if every “confrontation” results in you feeling the need to issue a “pull up”.
