...my first station commander was a cool ass bruh. when i came out of recruiting school and got assigned to the recruiting office there in cleburne, he went to his company commander and asked them to bring me up to garland. he told me "black man to black man, i didn't feel comfortable with you being down there....i'll just leave it at that."
