He took Transformers, a powerful story about the humanity and warmth of kindness and self-sacrifice (under the guise of machinery), and turned it to CGI porn. Back in my day, when Transformers the move came out and Optimus Prime died it had profound consequences on society. I had just come into the world so I only know of the impact through the tellings of my elders but it was monumental.
My older cousin told me children missed school for days after that death, mourning at the end of a powerful figure. Those who were brave enough to go to school wore black for a month. It was a time of great introspection and examination. My cousin told me that children were ill equipped to confront the abyss of death staring back at them.
All of that was reduced to Megan Fox, Black Stereotypes and CGI fukkery.
So fukk Michael Bay and fukk this movie.
