Another thing, they keep pushing this starting 2020-21 season on December 1, starting training camp November 10, after the Finals runs thru possibly October 12. Doesn't seem practical at all for a month and a half offseason...

If there issue is with the restrictions, I don't really get why they think not going in the bubble is a better alternative. They'll just have to be stuck at home limited due to state restrictions still in force while not getting paid.So they don't want to play because of the restrictions?

We've seen some of these players already in crowds like Trey Young, so I wonder how high of a concern coronavirus is to them. Being in the bubble with people that are constantly being tested is safer than being around random people.

I think the issue here is that there could be a potential big 2nd wave during the flu season. September until December at least. Realistically playing this summer is the best alternative. Or you can just start next year late January and not pay anyone. I think after guys don't start getting their pay there will be immense pressure to start.
