Not to mention the 2021 Olympics is gonna right after that.
I doubt the Olympics start on time, since the first Covid vaccines will probably be coming during the summer of 2021. If its not postponed I doubt fans will be able to attend the Olympics. Its too much of a hotspot with people coming in from different geographical areas without a vaccine.

shyt stupid as fukk to even attempt any sports on any level
2020 sports should be canceled
But bytch ass bums who ain't got no life act like they will die if shyt ain't on tv soon

Why do you think the fans have any impact on this? Sports will be back because the owners, broadcasters, and leagues want them back. They have way more to lose than any fan does.

My point is there are fans crying over it and not giving a fukk about the player's safety

There isn’t gonna be a great time to resume activity in the near future. Now’s not a good time nor will the Fall be when 1. There’s still no vaccine 2. Covid will be coupled with flu season.

People need to get over themselves and accept the fact that sports & entertainment have to take a backseat to more important things right now. But if getting that cheap ass ring is THAT important to some of these guys, let them be crash dummies and go for it.

None of them are at any risk if they catch Covid. They're all young athletes at the highest level.
Covid hits differently to different people...

We still don’t know how it really attacks the body fully.

There’s been plenty of healthy young people lying in ICUs.

So they don't want to play because of the restrictions?:mindblown:

They do know 100K+ died and #s going back up? Some of them won't even be there for more than 2 weeks

Ultimately nyggas gotta make up they mind.

Play and get paid with the Covid restrictions... or don't play/don't get paid and continue with their free time as is.

It's going to be the exact same situation for the '21 season but even more cumbersome bc it'd be a "full season" and all 30 teams.

Really, it should be less about the restrictions (mf'ers gon have to cope with it, or no ball for the next 2 years), and more about if the venue is the best compared to other regions.

and its not like these players will be doing their own laundry/making their own food, there will be other staff there who are not in great shape like them.

Take for example most regular people aren’t happy with working during Covid and don’t even wanna be going back to work even right now.

One footlocker employee told me today after his store opened back up he didn’t wanna work cause “home was lit” :heh:

Imagine 3 months off basketball relaxing with your family watching everything going on in the world and just dropping it all to get back in shape/move to Orlando and play for an 8th seed or 1st/2nd round exit :snoop:

Depends who players are the bigger the name more commissioner will listen Melo is friends with Bron and CP so this is legit concerns. Wouldn't it be some shyt if NBA just went to a March Madness type tournament .
Lebron didn’t try to get Melo signed and CP3 got him pushed out of Houston. They don’t give a damn about Melo’s feelings.

All this is just posturing, trying to get more freedom and perks down there. Same dudes acting afraid of COVID been outside., i saw video of James Harden riding a 4-Wheeler or something like that. These dudes aren’t turning down paychecks. They’ll be there.
