and also to be clear, i'm someone who wants the season to come back because i miss basketball and i'm a lakers fan who has an interest in my team winning the title. it was the best lakers season in a decade.

it just seems poorly thought out and implausible.

two things to keep in mind when you read some of the stories that come out of this too, it's taking place at a location owned by ESPN and Chris Paul is good friends with Bob Iger, who still is in a high ranking position within the Disney Company even if he is no longer CEO.

so consider the source of that info and remember all of these media outlets that cover the NBA have a vested interest in the playoffs happening, most of the people firing off these tweets will not be held hostage at disney world or have their personal health at risk either. just keep that in mind when you read whatever spin they put on it.
