He’s a free agent this simmer

they don’t play this summer the cap crashes

he goes from maybe getting a 4 year 60 million dollar deal

to some shyt that’s half that .

He’d get fukked

nikkas like Kyrie already got their bag . They talking reckless

Even if they did return to play he's probably getting fukked. They aren't going to make back ALL the money they lost which may have cap implications whether they play or not.

nah, only the top guys like Kyrie mentioned are "wealthy"
most of these guys are rich but not wealthy where they can sit out 2 seasons of bball
CJ McCollum said 1/3 of the league are living check to check
I mean that makes their position even more respected.

If the ones who are not wealthy don't have a problem sitting out, then no one who is posting on this board should either.

We already know where LeBron stands, he didn't wanna stop play when it happened, and had been vocal all quarantine about being ready to play whenever it's time.

Also Bron's position is now compromised with the new Racial element.

He's been vocal about BLM yet, now seems insensitive to the movement when it applies to lesser known talent in the NBA

but its better for him to adjust the current salary cap down instead of the owners tearing up the CBA and starting from scratch

the cap is crashing anyway.... unless well...... they change the CBA.
Yes it’s going to fall

but some revenue will be salvaged if the season is resumed because of TV rights

if the season is suspended totally all that is out the window and on top of that the CBA is tossed in the trash .

It’s a dumb move

Kyrie is the NBAPA VP ? That’s why I’m surprised he didn’t stand up during when they agreed to the restart proposal? Or was he just outvoted during the process?

sure but Kyrie saying he will give up everything is different than Ja Morant or Donovan Mitchell saying the same thing
Kyrie already set, 2 max contracts already
As long as those players realize that then cool

The CBA is likely going to be starting from scratch or adjusted regardless of what the media says.

Fans likely won’t be back in the stands next season at normal capacity, so there’s no way that owners are not going to want next season to be started under current terms. Especially when there’s no timetable of when things will be back to normal.
