I think there is a dearth of misunderstanding here, but as usual, @DEAD7 screams about a problem, assigns blame to "the other party", and fails to present any thought out, comprehensive solutions... just like a good old GOP boy
I havent assigned any blame, nor did I add an opinion one way or another to the op :comeon:

Stop lights could exist within a libertarian world view. Owners of private roads have every reason to want drivers on those roads to behave safely. If for no other reason than to protect them from liability. I do realize that libertarians have a big tent, and I'm sure there are some libertarians opposed to law suits or something dumb like that.

Where did I say u laid blame in the OP? You got on your typical GOP talking points in post 6.

Keep in mind, I don't fault you for leaning one way or another. I fault you for relegating yourself to being a vessel for someone else's ideas w/no kind of analysis or introspection.

:russ: That was in response to a free market jab. :manny: I actually dont think the nations fiscal trajectory is the fault of one side or another, nor is that relevant at this point. Its about solutions.
Solutions that seem to be in short supply.

Obviously libertarian solutions arent welcome, but there doesnt seem to be any other serious solutions being thrown out for consideration...

Why do you hate corporations?

They encourage bad business practices. If shareholders and/or the CEO were personally liable, we wouldnt see half the shenanigans we do. Its the reason no one went to jail over the housing crisis.
Govt. has given big business owners a shield with which they can protect themselves from losses while collecting private profits for themselves.

...and what worse is this is thrown out often as an example of the free market
:deadmanny:

If they werent propped up by the state(and considered people) they'd be fine.
