Some of Havoc's flips straight up dont make sense

I can usually figure out the process behind a beat, but Havoc has some pretty far out techniques. I think he actually could be the most technically skilled producer of all time

You cant alter a sample like that just by EQing and shifting the pitch

Start Of Your Ending isn't a good example. he just chopped the first few secs, pitched it up and hit the pads. Eye For An Eye is crazy as fukk tho, so is Shook Ones

Shook Ones is top 5 all time in beats. You can't compare the legacy of a beat like that to something that dropped this year. But go ahead and name the beats YOU think are better and twenty years from now we'll see if they are getti g movie placements and award show placements.

Shook ones was cool for tgat era but if that beat dropped today it would be overlooked. Plus alch sexier...I bet he got bigger meat than havoc lil ass 2.

i just showed you the video of how much work it took to get just the piano sample on Shook Ones let alone the rest of the beat. doing that kind of shyt on an SP or MPC is a lot trickier than having a computer where you can have as much sample time as you want and infinite zoom to chop your samples to the EXACT point that you want it. it isn't basic at all. and the beat was used for the TDE cypher in the BET awards just the other day
